2024 Usns mercy - The USNS Mercy arrived at the Port of Los Angeles on Friday, March 27. The Naval hospital ship is serving as a referral hospital for patients NOT infected with COVID-19, and instead is helping to handle the overflow of acute trauma cases and other urgent needs, allowing local hospitals to focus on the treatment of coronavirus patients.
